The Opportunity
As Elion’s Director of Research, you’ll define how the healthcare industry evaluates and adopts transformative technologies. This is a chance to shape the future of health IT decision-making while building a world-class research function from the ground up.
Your work will influence how health systems improve care delivery, reduce costs, and adopt innovative solutions. You’ll analyze markets, evaluate technologies, and deliver actionable insights that guide decision-makers at the highest levels. Along the way, you’ll establish yourself as a recognized authority on the intersection of AI and healthcare, making a tangible impact on the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Master the intersection of AI, healthcare workflows, and market trends, becoming a trusted voice in health IT.
- Analyze emerging technologies, vendors, and market shifts, and translate your findings into actionable guidance for health systems.
- Develop frameworks and evaluation tools to help organizations navigate high-stakes technology decisions.
- Write thought-provoking, impactful content—including buyer’s guides, market deep dives, and vendor evaluations—that shapes industry conversations and purchasing decisions.
- Build relationships with vendors, health systems, and investors to uncover key insights, challenge assumptions, and foster trust in your expertise.
- Conduct interviews and demos with market participants, synthesizing technical and business details into clear, concise research outputs.
- Represent Elion through webinars, summits, and panels, sharing your perspectives and elevating our reputation as a trusted research and advisory platform.
- Experiment with new tools and processes to streamline research, improve insights, and set new standards for how we operate.

Compensation
We offer competitive compensation because we want to hire the best people and reward them for their contributions to our mission. We pay all employees competitively relative to the New York City market, regardless of their location. The target salary range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000.
